As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) here at Vasion, you will work to convert qualified opportunities into sales opportunities. Qualified opportunities are generated from conference shows, webinars, virtual events, and cold call lists. You will call and email these qualified opportunities with the goal of scheduling a Zoom meeting for the Account Executives (AE) and System Engineers (SE) to showcase the Vasion solution. The ideal SDR is self motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.


Because you have a short time to connect with these people, this role requires a lot of enthusiasm, high energy and the ability to communicate well with prospective clients over the phone and identify and understand their needs.


What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Work closely with management and peers to complete an intense 30-60-90 day training process
  • Develop knowledge of the Vasion solution while learning the industry trends through ongoing product and industry training 
  • Collaboratively work with team members to develop an overall territory account plan that maximizes prospecting opportunities and generate sales activity
  • Being the first point of contact for our opportunities and qualifying them for a demo you will schedule for our Account Executives
  • Make 100+ calls to sales qualified opportunities (SQL) per day
  • Achieve monthly demo targets and daily activity targets
  • Be present and engaged full-time, M-F 7AM - 4PM (no nights or weekends)


What You Should Have:

  • 4-year degree preferred in business or related field
  • 2 years of B2B sales experience 
  • Experience in cold calling
  • The ability to teach, tailor, and take control
  • The ability to to identify and qualify sales opportunities
  • Highly motivated and results oriented entrepreneurial attitude
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision
  • Focus on building a career in technology sales
